Pass through the industrial area of Southern Addis Ababa, stopping to visit the Behere Tsige tropical gardens. Continue through scenic country side, villages and farm lands doted with Tukuls(local thatched dwellings) viewing Mt. Zuqula to right and Mt. Yerer to the left and then to the crater lakes of Debre Zeit. There view the lovely crater lakes of Babuguya, Kuruftu, Bisheftu and Hora where many species of birds could be seen.

KOKA, NAZARETH AND SODORE

Drive through the farmland and typical villages to Debre Zeit. Visit the volcanic crater lakes and continue to Koka Dam where the Awash river is harnessed to provide hydro electric power. View the man made Koka Lake and visit the Hippo pool on the Awash river. Proceed to Sodore resort to enjoy a swim in the spa/hot water and visit Nazareth on your way back to Addis Ababa.
