On the first day of the tour drive to Awassa via Debre Zeit. Lunch en route. Afternoon sight-seeing in Awassa including lake Awassa, Tabor mountain, the lake and the town. Dinner and overnight Awassa. In the morning visit the colorful fish market and back to Lake Langano which is popular for various water sports-swimming, sunbathing and camping along the sandy beaches. It is the only swimmable lake. Lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at Langano. On the next day drive back to Addis Ababa stopping at various scenic spots for pictures.

FIVE OF THE RIFT VALLEY LAKES AND AWASH NATIONAL PARK

Drive 275 kms South of Addis Ababa to Lake Awassa. Lunch en route. Afternoon sight seeing in Awassa, including the town and lake Awassa. Dinner and overnight at Awassa. After breakfast visit the fish market and drive to mount Tabor, where you will be welcomed by pretty Sidamo girls wearing beads to entertain you to the tribal dance. After viewing the panorama of Awassa and the surrounding area, continue to Wondogenet(which is a paradise ended). Here you stop for refreshment and lunch. After lunch proceed towards Langano. Dinner and overnight at Langano. After a morning swim and breakfast drive to Awash National Park. Its wildlife consists mostly of East African plain game with the exception of giraffe, elephant and buffalo. Here it mostly consists of beisa oryx, sommering's gazelle greater and lesser Kudus, water buck, bateared fox, warthog, caracal, and the like. Lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at Awash National Park. On the last day drive back to Addis Ababa enjoying scenic savana views.

THE RIFT VALLEY LAKES AND ARBAMINCH

After breakfast drive to Awassa via the industrial part of Addis Ababa. Lunch en route. Afternoon sight-seeing in Awassa including handcrafts center and lake Awassa. Dinner and overnight at Awassa. After breakfast visit the fish market and drive to Tabor Mountain to have panoramic view over the city. Continue and drive to Arbaminch through the beautiful landscape and Welayta local farm's and villages. On the way visit Chencha and arrive in Arbaminch in time for dinner. Overnight at Arbaminch. In the morning drive to Konso to visit the ethnic tribe of Konso and observe their way of life which is usually making crafts, cotton dress and the social life they enjoy day to day. Return to your hotel in time and overnight at Arbaminch. Early in the morning drive to Nechsar Park. After lunch visit the crocodile market. Dinner and overnight at Arbaminch. After breakfast drive back to Addis Ababa.
